Thank you for your interest in the Pushkin Advanced Hackathon! This event will be held June 26-28 at MIT’s Endicott House Conference Center in Dedham, MA (note that Endicott House is not on MIT campus https://goo.gl/maps/CmJk6qxQjpCxRhjE7).

With this hackathon, we hope to grow the open-source community around Pushkin, address missing functionality needed by prospective users, and facilitate integration with third-party software. As such, attendance would be most beneficial for researchers with advanced programming skills, especially in JavaScript. Topics covered at the hackathon will be drawn from attendees' suggestions.

Attendees will be able to arrive on the evening of the June 25th, and activities will begin on the morning of June 26th. The final hackathon activities will be on the morning of June 28th, and attendees will depart thereafter.

Funding to cover travel, food, and lodging is available to support student/post-doc attendees. Funding will be awarded by application, with an emphasis on supporting underrepresented minorities. If you wish to attend without funding, please contact us ASAP so we can coordinate additional slots with the venue.

Please direct questions to jesse.storbeck@bc.edu.
Our assumption is that people coming from outside the Boston area will arrive on the evening of June 25th, and local people will arrive the morning of June 26th; however, we understand that other factors may influence when attendees arrive. Would you like overnight accommodations at MIT Endicott House on the night of June 25th?
